Moving massive data efficiently between chips
Many data-intensive applications may become limited not by the
processor, but by how fast you can “feed the beast” by moving massive
amounts of data between processors or between processors and memory.
At ISSCC 2013, Mozhgan Mansuri of Intel Labs is presenting paper describing chip-to-chip I/O that combines extremely high (terabit per second) data rates, world-class energy efficiency, and the capability to rapidly tune performance vs. power consumption to use the minimum energy at any given time.

Flash will ride DRAM bus in 2014
The company believes Microsoft Windows will support the so-called Hybrid DIMMs that could pack more than 256 Gbytes of memory.
The move gives flash a new position in the computer memory hierarchy, ahead of today’s solid state drives that ride the PCI Express bus. The Hybrid DIMMs will be more expensive than SSDs but likely offer greater performance with memory access times measured in nano- rather than microseconds.

Why none landed at Moon here ?
Apollo Landers, and astronaut ascend should be visible from all Earthlings using 10 inch refractor telescope home made ! That should be convincing for me. Alleged landing on the dark side of Moon is simple dark and lets call it theory of Moon landing. In case of ascend stage ignition problem, second automatic lander should be landed first. But than, how to hide it from direct Earth observations?

Welcome Big Brother in 1.8Gbit resolution
Maybe far-fetched for the United States, but imagine this technology widely deployed in a country with a more repressive government.
One thing to note is that a drone can just hang out at 15,000 feet over a small city-sized area (roughly, half of Manhattan) and provide video surveillance of the whole thing. The other thing to note is that they are running machine vision on the moving objects, which means they are generating structured data out of the video, not just displaying the pictures.

99% BAD HARDWARE WEEK: I am wondering why this technology is not used 3 miles above Alollo 11 landing site at Moon in 2009? It should be double smashing hit. Proving Apollo landing in high resolution and AND demonstration od extreme surveillance technology no any other one country has.
