Will Nehalem be up to 10 times better in synchronistion and communication latency ?
The answer is yes, quite possible. Isn't that then a sign of efficiency of Intel's current HIDE LAAAAAATENCY architecture? Yes it is. Try to impose Intel's processor latency imposed tasks. Only then you will see how much its current architecture is worth. And why Intel replaces the winning horse.
Now only remains Nehalem to be build. Intel is pretty quit about some 6 years already. Even a slightest future delay might make it only vaporware ready to replace old confident one named Itanic long time ago, after its proven unsinkability . Until then, Intel will not be able to make its systems any better.
AMD will strike first with 45nm Deneb.
