Intel to delay Larrabee forever ?
Graphics processor makers Advanced Micro Devices and Nvidia Corp. may have gotten long- as well as short-term reprieves from Intel Corp.'s decision not to release the first version of its Larrabee chip.
AFAIK, the only known Intel's delayed products were ill fated Prescott and Itanium (Itanic).
Quite on the contrary, AMD's the most sudcessful products were delayed Barcelona ancestors.
BAD HARDWARE humble opinion: I expect that the architecture like Intel's 48 core Bangalore will replace current Larrabee in the near future. Thus Larrabee, bue bue forever. Intel shares? Down, down.
