Intel, FTC Said to Be Close to Final Accord on Antitrust Suit

The settlement with Advanced Micro, based in Sunnyvale, California, cost Intel $1.25 billion. That followed a record EU fine of 1.06 billion euros ($1.45 billion at the time).
