Yet another Intel's trouble: Merom killer !
Finally, a truth on bad hardware.
Benchmarks show VIA C7 faster than comaparable Dothan and than Merom (when emerge).
Opterons push Intel out from top of scale, and now VIA will from bottom. As badhardware found last month.

you must, as they say at Intel to folks who are out to lunch, be smoking something, as the clocks for Dothan are of a low clocked dothan and NOT anything in relation to MEROM's product clocked throughputs NOR MEROMS' clock headroom ( about 3.3ghz ).
Bad Hardware = DUMB WRONG HYPERBOLE. ( p.s. I liked the burned CPU - which was totally unrelated to your byline - you are drinking your own BAD HYPE, be careful )
