Ballmer expects economy crisis to impact Microsoft

However, he also expressed optimism that Congress will agree on “some resolution” that will help “stabilize the situation” by the end of the week.

I suggest Phoenix AZ, as place for get cheap house for Microsoft developers.
It price drops 30% anually. No, it is not mistake, 30%. I am eagerly waiting one day to buy one of these houses for free, taking in account those downward spiralling trend. To became Microsoft developer.

Apple shares down 17%, AMD 15%, Intel 10%,

Crisis.
But, don't worry. You will not know what is really bad, until the next year.

Sony prepares PS4

Lower geometry means lower power consumption and consequently some free space in new chip power envelope to add more features. When will PS4 see the LED display lights? Who knows.
In the meantime, see this onion video.

Computer forensic examiner

"We were asked to analyze an engineer's laptop computer and desktop computer and his PDA," he said. "We were able to show where he had been taking trade secrets out of the country, actually, and selling them to China."

Computer Model Predicts Financial Doom !!!

On National Public Radio’s Morning Edition today, the reporter David Kestenbaum took a look into a crystal ball for our economic situation.

On the question: We’re headed for doomsday, unless something happens?
Mr. Gertler responds: “Uh … roughly speaking, yes.”

Are Republicans became communists? Bush left 4 years of economy misery to the next USA President.

As China communists take a lot of capitalistic recipes in country handling USA Republicans take a lot of communistic manners.
They want to pay private failures with public money?
They restrict all human rights in favor of security.
They float on Commie money.

But Washington Post finds:
There are dark fears floating through the city that foreign investors, particularly the Chinese, might begin to pull their billions out of our system.

Indeed: Customers of WaMu withdrew $16.7 billion from accounts since Sept. 16, leaving the Seattle-based bank ``unsound,'' the Office of Thrift Supervision said late yesterday.

LATEST: China banks told to halt lending to US banks-SCMP
Instruction from the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) applied to interbank lending of all currencies to U.S. banks but not to banks from other countries.

There are $45 trillion of those esoteric instruments sloshing around the global financial system during the last 50 years. One $ trillion each year? WEll that is called bad global economy. Or globally bad economy?

Google math:399 999 999 999 999 - 399 999 999 999 998=0

Pretty close. :)
See the Google satellite snapshot below.

Informed sources says that collapsed banks were secretly financed Bush's private wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Latest: McCain refuses to debate on public debt in public candidate debate.
Finally, a truth on bad finance. However, public money is needed for private financial mess Republicans made.

Informed sources says that collapsed banks were secretly financed Bush private wars in Iraq and Afghanistan by years. Thus, beside financial collapse we have collapse of Bush foreign politics too. President Bush now publicly pledges for cover of his missed politics by public money because it is much cheaper now than later.

“It should be enacted as soon as possible.” Men, we are out of time.

On the contrary, President Bush warns of 'long and painful recession'

Nice new way of making money. Will this reprogramming tricks be used for USA budget deficit reprogramming tweaks.

I'm not convinced we're winning it in Afghanistan, we're running out of time

Bush Administration will keep secret 'grim' Afghanistan report quiet until after election
"I'm not convinced we're winning it in Afghanistan," he said, adding, "we're running out of time."

Here is the picture of White Hall's red online computer waiting for god news from Afghanistan .

Financial breakdown, with banks ceasing to lend and the economy grinding to a halt ! !

12th bank failure of the year announced
Financial breakdown, with banks ceasing to lend and the economy grinding to a halt.

The next president is likely to face a shortfall in January of well over $500 billion, according to congressional analysts.

Who will borrow? China? Russia? Islamic countries? Nobody?

Expensive: 2 Presidents Bush , 2 wars, 2 feeble economies

For his entire presidency, George W. Bush has tried to avoid the fate of his father: brought low by a feeble economy. Now, as the financial crisis radiates far beyond Wall Street, Bush faces an even grimmer prospect: being blamed, at least in part, for an economic breakdown.

Alien life traces found !!!

Actually, abundant naphthalene traces were found 700 light years from the Earth.
Naphthalene is as you know, an efficient repellent substance used at the Earth against the moths.
Curiously, seems that aliens have a lot of problems with cosmic moths.

After Big Bang follows Big Halt, LHC collider worked for one day only

Fithout fanfares, in a statement Thursday, the European Organization for Nuclear Research reported for the first time that a 30-ton transformer that cools part of the collider broke, forcing physicists to stop using the atom smasher just a day after starting it up last week.

Wall Street c(r)a$h: China takes 49% of Stanley Morgan?

Hundreds of small American banks will also go under or be taken over due to bad mortgages and collapsed real estate prices in a handful of states.
What will survive is the Canadian Model: A few gigantic banking and insurance conglomerates which are heavily regulated by government.

China Gov. May Buy Out 49% of Morgan Stanley in US Collapse

Cheers for collapsed Bush and capitalism based on private initiative.
Is this the Hell new World order, so much has been promising some time ago.
Where, there is no private freedom of talk, like in China for long time.
Or currently in the USA. Nice democracy.

Anyway,
The inflated value of all assets will be lowered, causing more failures, more job losses, stock and real estate declines and higher borrowing costs for everyone. The party ended in August 2007 and the hang-over will probably last for a decade.

How Wall Street Lied to Its Computers

One way they did this, Mr. Berman said, was to make sure the computer models looked at several years of trading history instead of just the last few months.

Governor Sarah Palin’s Yahoo email account hacked: It got ugly and will be.

This person recently promised to make an easy war with Russians if needed. Hopefully, she will not order nuclear attack using her email account. :)

LATEST:

The FBI confirmed that it is looking into the matter, while Palin cannot prevent the events from turning into a huge mess as it appears that the Governor of Alaska conducted state business ????!!!!! using her private email account.

9/18/08 Market attacks shake New Yorks' Wall Street

Greedy me.

NEW YORK — Even Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, the two last titans left standing on Wall Street, are no longer immune.

To the surprise of executives within those firms, and their rivals, the stocks of these powerful companies were drawn into the crisis of investor confidence Wednesday. Morgan Stanley, whose stock fell almost 25 percent, was considering a merger with Wachovia or another bank to help shore up its finances. Goldman Sachs' stock fell almost 14 percent, and the firm had to rebuff rumors that it was seeking a capital infusion.

Seems that badhardware diagnosis given here is pretty correct.

Financial crisis is transfered into hardware purchase, not only in the USA.

How to Profit from the Coming Economic Collapse ?!

The stampede will trample the dollar.
To make good, US must rely on the printing press to create money out of thin air. The rapid expansion in money supply will push the dollar down mercilessly.

Right now every asset on the planet is being sold except the U.S. dollar. To me this rally looks like the last gasp of a dying currency. Just like a toy rocket ship, once the dollar runs out of fuel it will crash back down to Earth.

Latest: The engines that powered record growth in the financial industry over the last decade -- cheap credit and surging property values -- have been thrust into reverse.

Lehman, which employed 25,935 people at the end of August in 61 offices around the world, had a balance sheet totaling $786 billion as recently as February.

AMD stole from Intel ?

Then AMD did really everything to make i future worse processors then currently produces.
Idiotic charges, aren't they? Hudson center where "the secrets" disappeared is before its closing.
Moles in Santa Clara told us last year that this is due to the building not being upgradeable to the latest processes, so it has outlived it's usefulness.

Kentucky Goodwill stores to cease accepting televisions, computers

There is little demand for used computer equipment and television sets

Computers are useless. They only give you answers

Said artist Pablo Picasso in the late 1960s. Forty years later, computers have evolved into useful tools capable of performing an amazing array of tasks, even though they are still incapable of formulating even the most fundamental questions.

Fake antiviruses

Once on a system they tell the user (who is often unaware that the application is on their system) that a virus has been detected. They then invite them to buy the full version of the antivirus to disinfect the computer.
If users don’t purchase the antivirus, it continues displaying non-existent infections and pop-ups inviting users to purchase the fake security software – which in reality does not detect or delete anything. If they buy it, they will have paid for a useless programme. This is how cyber-crooks reach their main objective: to profit financially through malware.

Destined unveiling of Canon EOS 5D Mark II

Canon people seems don't know too much about Photoshop abilities?

Intel's first Nehalem draws 130W even at 2.6GHz and 45nm

One million dollars question is how much it consumes in 65nm? Seems that new Quicksuck TM bus interface itself consumes err. sucks a lot of power. Isn't it? Only now we can completely understand the real nature AMD's 65nm quad core troubles. Considering Intel, it is now obvious that it is inherently unable to effectively clock NehLEM over 3 Ghz, so consequently we will see yet another ME2 sequel, copying all what AMD has previously done, and deliberately lowering clock of new processors to stay in TDP power envelope and business generally. Interestingly, about the same time AMD will be ready at the market with its new 45nm quad cores.

Intel's quad core market shrinks !

Because AMD's share is perhaps on rise?.

Google is now mapping with 40 centimeters resolution

Google launched new mapping satellite with unprecedented resolution.

Besides unsurpassed spatial resolution of 0.41-meters or about 16 inches, GeoEye-1 is designed to be able to offer three-meter geolocation accuracy, which means that customers can map natural and man-made features to within three meters (about 9 feet) of their actual location on the surface of the Earth without ground control points. This degree of inherent accuracy has never been achieved in any commercial imaging system and will remain unchallenged even when next-generation commercial systems are launched in the coming years.

Troubled Dell

Dell Inc. became the world's largest computer maker with an innovative business model that delayed production until customers had placed orders directly with the company.

By eliminating both middlemen and inventory, this model proved incredibly efficient.

Sony recalls 440,000 notebook computers

Sony Corp., the world's second- largest maker of consumer electronics, recalled about 73,000 + notebook computers in the U. S. + 373000 in Japan, saying wiring or a dislodged screw in the notebook's hinge can lead to overheating, posing a burn risk.

Sony said the problem in the Vaio laptops, produced between May 2007 and July 2008, is related to irregularly positioned wires near the computer's hinge that can cause a short circuit and overheating. [ID:nN04439855]

Jesus called US to die !

Some of Vice President Palin heard during Lord's service at her church:

critics of President Bush will be banished to hell; questioned whether people who voted for Sen. John Kerry in 2004 would be accepted to heaven; charged that the 9/11 terrorist attacks and war in Iraq were part of a war "contending for your faith;" and said that Jesus "operated from that position of war mode."
Jesus called us to die. You're worried about getting hurt? But, He's called us to die.

BADHARDWARE: Jesus, Bush and Palin, not even together are unbeatable. And Bush and Palin being humble so much in Lord's service are future saints. Without any doubt. Seems that in essence that we are called for a new Crusade, because Jesus calls us was crusaders motto.
All crusades failed, but seems that Palin is not strong in history. And those who don't know history are of course condemned to repeat historical failures.

Latest: Critics of Palin's daughter will burn in Hell too. Because Jesus was without Earthly father too .

Cray's breakthrough ECO friendly cooling system uses banned and health dangerouses coolant

The technology, called ECOphlex (PHase-change Liquid EXchange) has been designed to be "room air neutral", where the temperature of the air which enters the system is similar to that exiting the system.

The company's new cabinet with ECOphlex technology can either use Cray's vertical air cooling or its new liquid evaporative phase-change cooling technology which converts R134a, an inert coolant, from liquid to gas.

Under the new legislation the sale of refrigerant cans containing R134a would be prohibited before 2010 to avoid accidental release of the refrigerant while re-filling the air conditioning system.
It has the formula CH2FCF3, and boiling point of −26 .3 °C (−15.34 °F).

More on great Cray's ECO success find here.

Obviously, recently established cooperation with Intel gives the Cray first positive moral benefits.

Israel decided to strike Iran during the holy month Ramadan !

However, Iran's missiles don't celebrate and are programmed to strike some Israel and USA targets. Seems that some angry Russian rocket scientist are involved to be at disposal.
One of the priorities is Intel's new 45nm fab in Kiryat Gat, inside theirs missiles range.
That might strike Intel shares badly too. So, sell them in advance. In time, just in case.

Google application browser: Contrary to Microsoft, launch early and iterate

Google browser.
We realized that the web had evolved from mainly simple text pages to rich, interactive applications and that we needed to completely rethink the browser. What we really needed was not just a browser, but also a modern platform for web pages and applications, and that's what we set out to build.

BADHARDWARE: Microsoft has seems quite opposite vision: Launch postponed, and iterate compatibility mantra.

Google catch missile enroute ?!!!

What to say?
I am speechless. From now on, all people that have any evidence on bad hardware worldwide are welcomed at BADHARDWARE. I will announce every and anyone's comment or picture under only one condition. They have to be correct. No fakes please. Like this Google levitating car fake below:

Vapoware of 2010.
Powerpoint is the king. Latest vaporware king was AFAIK Itanium. Is it time for Itanium2. All allusions on i7 are of course intentional.
