AMD prepares 65nm launch for December!

Here is the first shoot of new 65nm AMD 4000+

AMD prepares 65nm launch for 5th December!. At this moment, probably thousands of 65nm Opterons are delivered for Cray XT4 Rainier supercomputer, as badhardware reported recently. Then, in 3Q2007 upgrade to K8L will follow.
Actually, K8L will have many of the features that made Conroe so fast:
- Double number of FP units
- Double width of SSE units
- Improved Branch Prediction and Prefetch
AMD on the other hand, is releasing its new 65nm parts at a max of only 2.8Ghz by Q2 2007 if recent information is to be believed.
