45nm shock: Intel creates bulk transistor and than repairs its gate with metaL !!!
This structure requires complex processing; creating a conventional transistor structure, and then replacing the sacrificial gate with metal gates.
So, that is why Intel has so many brand new 45nm REPAIR factories?
