Apollo 13 at launch: Stronger rockets should be used for Ares driving crew safe escape or ..

Landing parachutes will simply melt down in case of buster rockets explosion. Gulp. How NASA managed that kind accident never happened in Apollo missions? Similar rockets, now mostly used to loft communications satellites, come in configurations that use only liquid fuels. Only now I understand why is necessary to prematurely shut down Space Shuttle programs and why the hell it never had built in emergency escape system. OMG, they were simply doomed in that case. Thus to reach Moon and return the crew safely, two launch are needed.
1. Early launch vehicle for astronauts capsule alone (remember John Glenn ?).
2. Heavy Ares launch for Command and Lunar modules.

Both landing systems are needed.
