Not quite confirmed: AMD GPUs To Be Built On Globalfoundries' 28-nm
A new architecture codenamed "Northern Islands" sometime in 2011 would use the 28-nm HKMG process from Globalfoundries.
BAD HARDWARE: 28nm process in 2011 is 1/2 pitch DRAM process.
Thus, only Northern Island hefty RAM will use 28nm DRAM. Though its logic part might be in 32nm. Industrial mature 32nm logic by Q1 2011.
