Mike Magee rides too on Intel's cannon ball

After recently Intel's CEO has been pictured on riding cannon ball at IDF, that discipline is spreading world around like the bird flu.

Intel's CEO rides ball
Mike Magee was the first journalist to be allowed to drive and try Intel's secret success ball weapon.

Lets see Mike's first impressions after that striking drive:

"450mm wafers slated for Intel 2008 start "
If not misunderstanding, after this ride Mike became better in the art of deception even than Intel's CEO himself.

1.
CHIP GIANT Intel has already started planning for fabrication microprocessors on 450mm wafers, it said today.

Bad hardware comment: Quite possible, but first it needs to plan to make 450mm wafers themself . However, current general demand for Intel's processors seems pretty miserable, for such above kind of big investment.

2. 450mm wafers slated for Intel 2008 start

Bad hardware comment: Well, that was a lie bigger than anything that has been said until now, bigger than Tejas for example. Semi manufacturers only talk about the 450mm wafers as a distant posibility, quite unreal today. If ever, that might be real as an option only in the year 2013. But, at this moment most of the manufacturers interest is how to find customers for their 300mm fabs, and how to make that EXISTING fabs more productive and conseqently more profitable. The only one at all that thinks about the 450mm wafers, at this moment, is just Intel. But, even if Intel make it, it will not be in production before the year 2013. In 2008? Hahahahhaha.
